Safe Outreach is an independent project that answers one question about any LinkedIn browser extension: is it on LinkedIn's own detection list — and where does it send your LinkedIn session?
How we know — we read the code
We don't take a vendor's word for it. We download each tool's real, published Chrome Web Store package — the identical files every user installs — de-minify it, and read it line by line. For 129+ tools we trace exactly what happens to your li_at session cookie: does the extension just read it locally, or upload it to a vendor cloud that then acts as you?
Our sources
Every verdict is checked against LinkedIn's own hardcoded detection (AED) list — 6,153 extension IDs we extracted from LinkedIn's frontend code — plus our line-by-line teardowns, each citing the exact file and line in the extension's code.
